For our media film coursework we have decided on a sub-genre of an action thriller. We have decided to base our movie on the film James Bond Casino Royal. the scene of the chase. We chose this particular scene due to the high impact of tension building and suspense. The
sound is essential in this scene to maintaining the tension throughout the chase. This is a key factor that would need to be included in our clip in order to achieve our brief. Another aspect relevant in fulfilling a good and suspenseful action thriller is the use of editing. Just like in casino royal we would need to use forms of sharp editing and short cuts in order to maintain a high paced clip.
We also chose this clip due to the quality and variety of camera shots in order to portray one moment of action during this short scene. In aspiration to this we will try to use a variety of camera angles and movement in order to fully portray the action of the clip. This clip is
relevant to our film clip because it combines all different aspects of an action movie along with the suspension, tension and anticipation desired in the thriller genre.
